Richard Douthwaite arrived from the group of Prof. Malcolm L. H. Green (Oxford, UK) as a post-doc to work with PTW in 1996 on Ti quinone coordination polymers and W and Re Silox chemistry. After returning to Oxford as a research fellow and subsequent three years at the University of Birmingham (UK), Richard obtained his current permanent position at the University of York (UK).
